Founded in 1980, Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter is the largest and most experienced hospice in its service area of Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover and Pender counties. It is the only nonprofit hospice in this area. Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter is approved by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. Each year, about 2,000 patients and their families receive care from Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter in our hospice and palliative programs.
