The mission of Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter includes education and outreach to its community. Because the organization realizes the importance of offering education to the residents of its five-county service area, the Education Center has been created.

Currently, the Education Center consists of EduCare, Speakers Bureau, and Communicating Choices, which offer a variety of presentations, inservices, conferences and forums. Collaboration and support between community businesses and organizations have made additional educational opportunities possible. The Events page lists upcoming educational events. 

Plans are to continue collaborations and expand community education. Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter has a wealth of information on topics such as end-of-life care issues, dealing with grief, starting conversations with loved ones and medical professionals, palliative care and caregiving. Our staff is available to offer help and support and assist you in getting the information you need to make the right choices for you and your loved ones.
