What is EduCare?
EduCare provides educational and supportive services to improve the quality of end-of-life care offered to people in our five-county service area of southeastern North Carolina.

What kinds of educational opportunities are available?
Educare offers end-of-life car presentations, inservices, seminars, forums and conferences. Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter often collaborates with other organizations to provide programs to the community.

Does EduCare discuss a variety of end-of-life care issues?
Advance Directives (Living Will and Health Care Power of Attorney), communicating health care choices, dealing with grief, palliative care, caregiving, and hospice services are a few of the topics that can be discussed.

Who can benefit from EduCare programs?
Civic, school, church, and community groups, businesses, individuals, health care professionals–just about anyone–can learn more about end-of-life care issues and concerns through EduCare programs and presentations.
